I'm trying to change the passwords in the managed passwords. As of yet,
I haven't been able to find anywhere to do it. The best I could do was
to delete all of the entries and then have them re-stored when I was
prompted for passwords.

Does anyone know a better way to change the stored passwords?

Thank you in advance,
Tim

First, take a look at: http://edmullen.net/moz_pw.html

Using the info on that page you may be able to edit your password file
directly.

No answer, but isn't Netscape as such DEAD? I don't mean that in a bad way,
but I seem to recall reading about the death of Netscape, stabbed in the
back by AOL, wasn't it?

Try logging onto the site where you have set the password for and enter
the new password. AFAIK Netscape will automatically update the new
password by prompting you for it - "Do you want to change the password"
or something to that effect. Subsequently it remembers the new password.

That's what I would have thought too. But it appeared as though Netscape
was sending my old password, the system rejected it, and a message
came up saying invalid password sort of thing. No chance to correct the
errant password.

I'll watch more carefully next time I change my password to see if
Netscape does give me a chance to update my password on the fly.

Thanks for all your help.
