I like the password manager, but how can I (a) actually SEE the
passwords, or (b) export a file to another computer?

Yes, I realize this could be a security issue, but I should be able to
see my own data.

And make the sytem 'forget' certain passwords. And AT A MINIMUM the system
should allow you to see WHICH passwords you've stored in the system (even
if it won't show you the passwords themselves), and delete/edit them as
desired.

The password manager already does this (except for editing passwords).

Someone has attached a patch to bug 78754 but it doesn't have
superreview yet.
or (b) export a file to another computer?
The passwords are sorted in a .s file in your profile; of course each
profile expects its .s file to have a different name so don't forget to
take that into account.

I might be stupid, but ... I didn't know there WAS a 'password manager'.
Maybe it's 'cuz I mostly use Firebird, not 'full-blown' Mozilla.

It would be nice if a handy 'Open Password Manager' button was provided
any time there was a pop-up window about saving passwords, or when you
have multiple username/password sets stored for a given resource on the
Web and it pops up the window to ask you which one... an 'Open Password
Manager' button there would be a godsend.

Good idea (that of the Open Password Manager)... You can go to bugzilla
(http://bugzilla.mozilla.org), and report it as an enhacement.

Yes, and please post a link to that issue, I'll happily vote for it :-)
